McCain Untested In National Security

General Wesley Clark, former Supreme Allied Commander of NATO, charges that John McCain has been largely untested in national security affairs.  McCain engages in loose talk about kicking Russia out of the G8 and makes up ditties about bombing Iran.  His actions show a fundamental disrespect for the office of the presidency.

McCain's Prebuttal to Obama

Senator John McCain gave a prebuttal to Obama's historic victory speech in Minneapolis.  The contrast between McCain and and Obama's speeches gives a preview of how the general election contest will be framed.  Rolling Stone says: "Worst.  Speech.  Ever."  Andrew Sullivan says: "Put McCain's speech against Obama's -- and this is a wipe out.  Not a victory.  A wipe-out."  National Review Online said: "McCain's speech was reaky, ungracious, and unnecessary."
